Photos of
kimberlite extracted from RC (reverse circulation) holes 1 & 2 This page
dated March 16, 2005
"Shareholders, friends and interested
parties,
Enclosed is yesterday's (March 14th) photo of drill chips from
62 to 64 meters of depth in RC hole #2 from the DO-27 kimberlite
mini-bulk sampling program. Currently hole #2 is at 110 meters
of depth. Notice the strong concentration of diamond indicator
minerals (dark red and green colors) in the kimberlite drill
chips, which was the same for the entire kimberlitic interval of
hole #1. This is very encouraging.
More information will be forthcoming on a regular basis.
Best Regards, Eric Friedland" (Peregrine Diamonds Ltd -
Operator)
Indicator minerals are found when diamonds are present in
the kimberlite, although the quality or number of diamonds
cannot be determined without sample processing. Low diamond
counts would be more likely if there was a lack of indicators.
The kimberlite from this bulk sample will be processed for
diamond content at the sample plant at the Ekati Diamond Mine.
